The Washington State Cheer Coaches Association is offering the Washington Cheer Coaches Association Cheer Scholarship to support cheer athletes in Washington State as they pursue their educational goals. Applicants must be current students in Washington State, and their coach must be a member of the Washington State Cheer Coaches Association. I was super excited when I found out I won this scholarship! Figuring out how to pay for school is a huge stressor and this scholarship is a big step for me. I’m grateful that this scholarship also reflects my passion for cheerleading! I plan to attend George Fox where I will major in biology as well as being a part of their STUNT/cheer team.

I am truly grateful to have been awarded this scholarship, as it will significantly support my future studies at Washington State University. My dedication as a varsity cheerleader over the past four years has paid off, and I’m proud that my hard work has led to this opportunity. I first learned about this scholarship through my coach, Alejandra Ramos, whose support and encouragement have meant a great deal to me. Receiving this scholarship has made me incredibly appreciative—it’s an honor to be recognized and supported financially as I pursue my goals. This scholarship has opened the door for me to continue working toward my dream of becoming a pediatric oncologist. I’m excited for the journey ahead and deeply thankful to everyone who made this possible.
